TSC Results Page

Let’s have them. You still have time to get this in.

I thought we had another weekend in April, but this is it. However, if you wanted to get one in next weekend, I’ll take it.

Post Name, Weight, Max DL, pullups, and KB swings.

Results will be compiled, and rankings will be produced. Enjoy.

  1. Sean
    BW 228

DL 465×1 505×1 (Made an AC jump to 545 and failed just above the knees. Apparently, I have learned nothing from all these competition posts lately. Tied my previous training PR)

    Strict pullups 18

    24KG KB Snatch 101/5:00

  2. I’ll be doing this sometime in the week. My gym has kettlebells, but they’re only used by the personal trainers and are kept chained up. So yes I’ll have to be doing dumbell snatches…while looking at the kettlebells.

  3. I did ask about this ‘which weekend’ confusion earlier. I guess this is my answer.

I’m doing it sometime this week, results guaranteed by May 1st.

@John: ouch, that’s worse than my scenario (using adjustable dumbbells). The stupidity involved is just,… sad.

  4. BW 215
    DL 385
    Pullups 4
    KB Snatch 51

Clearly I need to get my pullups up. This is a nice test of a broad range of skills. It’s enlightening to see your own weak points.

  6. My gang will be doing this on Friday using a dumbbell. Gang includes a gal with a non-zero pull-up score.

Gant are you planning to compile all the posts here into scores and results? I’ll do it if you don’t want to.

  7. Had another lady do the challenge today.
    Tina
    BW 160
    DL 305
    PU 1
    KB Sn 68

She’s had a lot going on lately so her deadlift was lacking. She’s pulled as much as 340. But she got her first pull up today! Also it was her first time ever doing KB snatches.

  8. 30 years old, 6’1″, 251 lbs

    DL: 455, 495, 505 (all w/ belt)
    Strict Pullups: 4
    KB Snatches: 105/5:00min @ 16kg

I didn’t have high hopes going into the gym – in fact, I considered not going at all. I have a pulled lower trap on my right side and even 135lb deads hurt, but I managed to make it through and hit all my goals for this challenge. Didn’t push hard on pullups, and unfortunately, didn’t have access to anything heavier than a 16kg KB. I’m happy, just as a baseline.

  9. Ryan
    24 years old, 6’2″, 235 lbs

    DL: 605# (PR)
    Strict Pullups: 15
    KB Snatches: 83

1st time participating in TSC… pretty cool stuff – thanks for hosting and making it available to us.

  10. Since there are a plethora of Ryan’s already on the board I shall be known as Kendall (my given name)

    24 years old, 5’11” 240lbs

Deadlift 465 (first 1rm in a year..easy PR…should have tried the “AC jump”)
    Pullups: 7
    KB snatches: 103 (45lbs KB)

We will be hosting a TSC tomorrow at our gym in Iowa Park. If anyones interested in results we will post them on our site http://www.Performancesc.blogspot.com

  11. I have 3 results to add:

    55lb DB Snatch 86 reps / 5 min

    Timothy 5’6″ 200

    55lb DB Snatch 53 reps / 5 min
